Our Board-Certified Surgeons
Dr. Arnold is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, a native of Northwest Arkansas, and a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Science (UAMS). He completed his orthopaedic residency at Hamot. Medical Center in Pennsylvania and his sports medicine fellowship at Harvard University/Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. As a lifelong learner, he has many hours of continuing education credits to stay up-to-date on healthcare trends and practices. Dr. Arnold is well known as an advanced specialist in knee arthroscopy and replacement, cartilage restoration, shoulder repair, fracture care, and sports medicine. He’s one of the leading surgeons in Northwest Arkansas and is certified to use ROSA, a robotic-arm-assisted technology that helps surgeons provide patients with a personalized surgical experience.
Dr. Yakin is double board certified by the American Board of orthopaedic Surgeons in orthopaedic surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine. He is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and obtained his undergraduate degree from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Hahnemann University Medical School in Philadelphia. He completed his internship in general surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and his orthopaedic surgery residency at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Yakin was in private practice in West Tennessee from 1997 to 2016. While running his practice, he served as a professor for the Sports, orthopaedic, and Spine Sports Medicine fellowship program, as well as a clinical instructor for the Bethel University Physician Assistant program. He was also an orthopaedic instructor for the University of Tennessee Family Medicine Program. In 2016, he relocated to Fayetteville to join Advanced Orthopaedic. He’s one of the leading surgeons in Northwest Arkansas.
Dr. Stacey, a board-certified plastic surgeon, completed his medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2000 and went on to complete one of the premier Plastic Surgery training programs in the country at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where he served as chief resident. A native of the region, Dr. Stacey then decided to return home to Northwest Arkansas, where he founded Northwest Arkansas Center for Plastic Surgery, a full-service plastic and reconstructive surgery clinic. Dr. Stacey approaches each patient with individualized care and customizes each surgery according to the patient’s surgical goals.
Dr. Stacey lives in Fayetteville with his wife, Adriana, and their four children, Annalise, Whitman, Mary, Virginia, and Jack.
Dr. St. Clair is an orthopaedic spine surgeon from Joplin, MO. He holds a degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas and earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri, where he also completed his orthopaedic surgery residency. Further honing his expertise, Dr. St. Clair completed a spine surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University, concentrating on minimally invasive and endoscopic approaches to the spine. This advanced training also encompassed complex revision and deformity cases.
Eric Heim, M.D. is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the hand and upper extremities. Dr. Heim completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and his Fellowship at the University of Colorado. Dr. Heim is married and enjoys golfing, playing tennis, and attending his three children’s athletic events.
Kent Hagan, MD, MBA, MSF, is a fellowship-trained, non-operative sports medicine physiatrist. He received his bachelor’s degree at Huntingdon College before pursuing his medical degree at the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Medicine, as well as his MBA and Master’s in Finance at Auburn University. He completed a residency specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine, all at the University of Pennsylvania. He has extensive training in ultrasound and fluoroscopically guided spine procedures, which can relieve various muscle, tendon, joint, and spine disorders. Furthermore, he has training in nerve conduction and electromyography testing, which allows for the diagnosis of muscle and nerve disorders.
Dr. Hagan’s practice focuses on providing excellent medical and musculoskeletal care for his patients through the appropriate use of physical and occupational therapy, medications, diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures, fluoroscopically guided spine procedures, concussion, and post-concussion management, and addressing the needs of special populations such as wheelchair and amputee athletes. As a decorated former college athlete himself, Dr. Hagan values a team-centered approach to treating musculoskeletal and spine-related disorders.
